Abstract
This protocol details the methodology to conduct a systematic review to critically evaluate the
quality of evidence surrounding the use of antimicrobials (both systemic and topical) to treat canine
superficial or deep pyoderma. This systematic review will contribute to guidelines for veterinary
practitioners for the treatment of canine pyoderma, alongside expert opinion.
